The Making of Polymer Clay Earrings
Every pair of earrings begins as a humble block of polymer clay. We start by conditioning the clay, rolling it through a pasta roller until it’s soft and perfectly smooth.

Once it’s ready, we lay the slab out on a cool tile and use a glass roller to gently press it down — this gives us the perfect surface to work our magic!

Next comes the shaping. We dip tiny cutters in cornstarch (to prevent sticking) and carefully cut out each basic

The extra clay is peeled away, leaving behind the little pieces that will become your earrings. From there, we add the artistry: hand-painting with liquid clay and a needle tool, adding delicate 3D elements like petals, or pressing little shapes from silicone molds to build dimension and texture.
The pieces are baked in stages so they stay strong while we add even more detail. Between each bake we use liquid clay to fill grooves, clean off any excess with acetone, and refine the tiny surfaces. After a final bake, each piece cools completely before being hand-sanded with a small dremel tool. This is where the earrings develop their soft, professional finish.
Finally, we drill holes for the hardware, attach the findings with pliers, and give each pair its own display card. Every set is photographed, labeled, and barcoded before it’s ready to meet you — online or in person. It’s a labor of love from start to finish, and no two pairs are ever exactly alike.
